Speech Ally is a private practice providing teletherapy dedicated to improving the quality of life of adults with communication, cognitive and swallowing difficulties following brain injury, stroke, head/neck cancer, and Parksinon’s.
We provide personalized and customized therapy programs to improve all aspects of communication and cognition including speech, language, voice, memory, executive function, attention and swallowing. We can help improve attention, problem-solving, executive function, orientation, and reasoning. We can also help with mild cognitive impairment and provide caregiver support and education for dementia.
Swallowing
We address swallowing difficulties through personalized exercises and strategies to help ensure a safer and more enjoyable dining experience.
Aphasia
We help patients with Aphasia improve their expressive language skills and comprehension. We can also help improve reading and writing.
Memory
We work with individuals facing memory challenges by teaching compensation and retrieval strategies.
Dysarthria
We can help improve your speech clarity by enhancing articulation, breathing and voice.
Speak Out!
As a certified SPEAK OUT! provider, we’ll help you regain and retain your confidence in communication by strengthening your voice and minimizing swallowing issues.
Meet the Owner
Jenny L. Tipton, M.A. CCC-SLP
Jenny is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist and the owner of Speech Ally. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Utah State University and her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Northern Colorado.
Jenny has over 21 years of experience as a speech therapist working in acute care, acute rehab, and outpatient settings. She is a SPEAK OUT! provider, MoCA certified, MBSImP clinician, and trained in flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing. Jenny is passionate about working with adults with various diagnoses, including Aphasia, Parkinson’s, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), head/neck cancer, and Dysphagia.
In her free time, Jenny enjoys spending time with her rescued dog, Wally, who was born with special needs.
Payment
Speech Ally is private pay only at this time. We’re happy to provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement for services. For more information on payment & pricing, please reach out.
